Planning Permission Success for Wyld Cabins at Houghton Estate

We are delighted that our project for Wyld Cabins & Houghton Estate obtained planning permission from Kings Lynn and West Norfolk Council following a highly detailed, considered planning submission, including extensive public engagement. The scheme will offer a wellness focussed retreat comprising 45 luxurious eco-cabins in a mixture of one, two and accessible units, featuring wellness and guest facilities set in 87 acres of woodland. The aim of the retreat is to encourage guests to reconnect with nature, switch-off, and digitally detox to improve their mental wellbeing. A landscape-led approach has been used, reinvigorating former commercial woodland with the introduction of native species and achieving biodiversity net gains in excess of 50%.
