Pioneering designs for luxury self-catering holiday cabins
Winner of Green Apple Award for Built Environment & Architectural Heritage 2016
Forest Holidays is a joint venture between the Forestry Commission and The Camping and Caravanning Club. It provides self catering cabin holidays within the ecologically and environmentally sensitive Forestry Commission Estate throughout Britain and has a £40m programme to build 800 holiday cabins. We designed Forest Holidays’ portfolio of new luxury self–catering holiday cabins. Following prototyping, the first 76 unit village opened at the Forest of Dean followed by Sherwood Forest and work is underway at Black Wood in Hampshire and Ardgarten in Argyle Scotland.
