Princess Way

Creating a catalyst for regeneration in Swansea.

Holder Mathias Architects was appointed to redesign the David Evans store in Swansea. The local authority was looking for a modern design that would act as a catalyst for regenerating this area of Swansea.
Princess Way comprises seven retail units and has been designed with a great degree of flexibility to increase longevity. The copper roof has been designed as a response to Swansea´s world history of copper smelting and exports.
