Rhydycar West Gets The Go Ahead

Following Merthyr Borough Council’s decision in March to support the application for the Rhydycar West sports, leisure and hospitality destination resort, Holder Mathias Architects is absolutely delighted to announce that Welsh Government has confirmed today that the Application will not be called-in. This thereby gives the go-ahead for the project to move forward.
For the people of Merthyr, for Wales and the UK, the project is of huge significance and the overwhelming support that it has received has been amazing. For us as architects and master planners it has been a 10-year journey to get to this point, and we cannot wait to begin the exciting task of bringing the ‘vision’ to reality.
